my community photos

my 12 photos are meant to represent my family community. it shows different photographs of my church and family, because i believe that my church is part of my community. I've used photo shop to color correct, make photos black and white, blur photos and put 2 photos together to help you understand how the 2 photos are similar yet so different! using these techniques in photo shop helps you better understand  the meaning meant to be conveyed in these photos.

ethics of retouching

1. What ethical considerations must be made by someone using photo shop to retouch a portrait photograph?
-the considerations you must make are that this is someone else's photo so before you do anything you must be sure that you always have the original untouched. You must always consider the fact that this picture of a person or a thing that does not deserve to be retouched in a negative manner.

 2. Give an example of a positive use of photo retouching and a negative use of photo retouching

-positive photo retouching would be removing blemishes and blending the skin so that that the persons face is clearly shown. a negative example of photo retouching would be adding more blemishes to the face or adding other things that make you look at the photo in a negative way.

3. Has learning retouching processes caused you to look at advertisements, magazine images and other published photos of celebrities and models differently? In what ways?
-yes, it makes me look at photos in magazines and makes me think that their skin is really not that perfect and they do not really look like that.

6.
a.because it shows somthing where you are going to question it and your going to question what is going on in the photo.
b. it shows confusion of what is happening ; you think that it is a girl being hung by a door but how do you know thats what the meaning of this photo is:confusion; it leaves you asking for more.
c.i am hanging from the closet door suffocating and a man is taking a picture but he is taking it from the point where peopl do not see my face so they are not quite sure exactly what is happening so they are left confused. i am hot and in pain in its just dawn and i feel as if i have been hanging here forever but it has only been a few moments, and i smell of sweat from all the muscles in my body working hard to pull myself back up. i feel scared; i do not want to die!
